Sleep, Little One, Sleep

This is such a sweet bedtime story with some great illustrations. As long as you don't mind a little repetition in poetry this book flows and is very soothing to read. I love how sleep is described with animal characteristics - let me give you a clip:

"Come, little one. The day is done.
Sleep spins a web, delicate and strong,
To cradle you.
To cradle you." - beautiful picture of a spider's web

"Look! See it there?
Sleep creeps in on velvet paws.
Hear it purr?
Hear it purr?" - picture of a snow leopard walking through the snow

Definitely one you would enjoy having in your bedtime collection.
