Ten Little Lambs - McGinty

Ten Little Lambs is one of those books that need not have been written. The book opens into what looks like a room full of sleeping children at a sleepover. The adult says, 'good night to the lambs' and the next page all the little "lambs" are up and playing everywhere. So they tumble and tackle, pour toys on the floor, launch teddy bears and build a skyscraper of oatmeal and paper...where was the adult in this book? To me, this just reinforces naughty behavior and children don't need any encouragement in this area.
While it is a count down book as each little lamb drifts off to sleep the behavior overwhelms the book and that is enough for me to give it a poor review.
